FACTS ON EARLY AGE SPAY NEUTER...
Don't Delay, Spay Today!!

"More than 20 years of research have proven that kittens
as young as 8 weeks old (or 2 pounds) can safely and
successfully be neutered with no surgical difficulties. In
fact, veterinarians doing early age spay/neuter say the
procedure is easier to perform and easier on the kittens.
It does not affect the kitten's development, but it does
eliminate the possibility of "just one litter." (Cats can
begin reproducing as early as 4 months of age!)

Misconceptions...
People often say, "I have a male cat, so I am not going to
bother neutering him because I won't have to worry about
dealing with kittens like I would if I had a female cat."
The truth is, male cats (and dogs!) can father an
UNLIMITED NUMBER of offspring, drastically contributing
to the problem of pet overpopulation and "litteraly"
fathering hundreds of kittens and puppies in their lifetime.
People who refuse to alter male cats are contributing to
the overpopulation problem much more than they realize!

Unaltered male toms are also MUCH more likely to have
behavior problems, such as roaming and spraying. Unaltered
cats are more likely to fight, and thus become more apt to
contract incurable diseases such as feline leukemia (FELV)
and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).

Early age neutering in male cats also reduces the chance
that he will spray later because of being altered before
developing the habit of spraying & reaching sexual maturity.
